The music video for “Man in the Mirror” featured Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr.,UGG Kensington Boots cheap, John Lennon and JFK assassination footage. Featuring these individuals in the video was fitting to the message that Michael Jackson was trying to convey with this song. “Man in the Mirror” received an abundance of attention from the masses and was nominated for a Grammy for Record of the Year. “Man in the Mirror” peaked at # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was Jackson’s fourth #1 single off of the Bad album.


5. “Heal the World” (Released 1991) Michael Jackson would ever so often create a song with the hopes of spreading a meaningful message. “Heal the World” is a song of inspiration that focuses on giving to those who are less fortunate.


Jackson kept the focus off of himself in the “Heal the World” music video. The lyrics and overall message were more important than focusing on his image. The video depicts footage of children living in poverty and harsh living conditions.


Michael Jackson even went on to establish the Heal the World foundation; a foundation focused on ensuring proper child development. “Heal the World” is rumored to be the song Jackson is the most proud to have created.


4. “Smooth Criminal” (Released 1987) “Annie are you okay?” That question is the signature line from the song “Smooth Criminal”. This track is yet another single off of Jackson’s Bad album. “Smooth Criminal” is about a woman named Annie who gets assaulted in her apartment by a drug peddling mobster.


The track was a huge success on Billboard and on various radio stations, but the video for “Smooth Criminal”, was its claim to fame.


The video was an essential scene in Michael Jackson’s short-film Moonwalker. The full-length video,Blood Complications, which runs for more than 8 minutes, is set at a 1930s nightspot. The music video also features Jackson’s signature anti-gravity lean, which was made possible by cable wires and a shoe prototype made especially for Jackson.

1. “Thriller” (Released 1984) This track and its video is undisputedly, the greatest piece of artwork to ever be made. “Thriller” is the title track from Jackson’s 1983 album Thriller. The meaning behind “Thriller” is self-explanatory once you listen to the lyrics. Over time, “Thriller” has become the official song for Halloween season. No Halloween party is complete until it plays “The Monster Mash” and “Thriller”. The 15 minute music video for “Thriller” is almost always played on MTV and MTV2 on Halloween.


The most memorable part of the “Thriller” music video is up for debate. Some believe its Vincent Price’s sinister cackle at the end of the track, while others believe it’s Jackson’s zombie back-up dancers.


The Thriller album won a record-breaking total of 8 Grammys. This was the most Grammys won by any artist in a year. After all these years, Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time.
